The immersive global nature retreat allows you to bring your challenge or goal and leave with a solution and next steps to launch success in your coming year, through physical, mental and emotional balance. 

We tested a week, a weekend and five days and found five days was the ideal time allotment for busy working professionals. Starting on Wednesday evening means only two working days off are required, Thursday and Friday, and you are home by Sunday evening and ready for your following work week. Easy to slot into our busy work lives.

Yes! Because we include learning and workshops as part of the retreat schedule, it can be considered professional development and therefore you can write the cost off against your business with our tax receipt. 

We take great pride in curating our community to ensure we have respectful, kind, authentic and trustworthy individuals who are the right fit for Mayfly Maven. 

By creating an application process, we are able to collect your thoughts and desires. Through the follow-up 1-2-1 call with our founder, Raj Hayer, we can ensure it is a mutually beneficial fit because we want to ensure we are the right fit for you too. 

We believe that making the retreat exclusive increases the value of our community and makes it more desirable for our tribe to find and join us. We aren’t looking for a million members, just a core tribe that fits what we believe in.

We do not discriminate; anyone is welcome on the retreats once approved through the application process.

However, our retreats attract mostly women aged 30-55 ready for some level of change or transformation in their lives. 

​

In essence we have evolved into a thinking women's retreat!

Our retreats are for people in good mental and physical health. 

Please be honest about your medical conditions. We do some physical activities that you can opt out of but are not equipped for chronic medical issues.

And please remember, we are not mental health experts, so if you are suffering or having trouble then please seek professional attention. 

We do not want you putting yourself at unnecessary risk. This is counter to what we hope to achieve on our retreats!

Our prices are based on per person, for one private room with an en suite bathroom. 

We can definitely accommodate shared occupancy for friends who want to share. Just let us know, and we can reduce the price by 20% for you.

However, keep in mind that we often find that participants want a place they can retreat to when they need some private time. 

Even though most of our participants have meaningful experiences with long-lasting results, there is no guaranteed outcome from participating in a retreat. 

However, previous attendees have –

• Started to write the book they had been dreaming of writing

• Closed a negotiation open for six years previously within a month of the retreat

• Started the process of opening their own eco-lodge retreat location

• Quit their job to start a company

• Started professional therapy at 50 years old

• Started meditating for the first time in their lives

• Changed their lifetime diets to the Mayfly nutritionist's recommendations 

• …and much more!

This is for our protection and ours, so it is clear what our independent responsibilities and liabilities include.

Due to the intimate nature of discussions and for participants' privacy, a comprehensive RETREAT WAIVER* will be required before arrival.

The media permission also allows us to take photographs and videos to share with participants or put on the site.

A deposit is made before confirmation of participation. The remaining balance is due no later than four weeks before the retreat start date.

If the final payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and fill your spot. But don’t worry, that is a last resort! We will make every effort to avoid this situation by contacting you before and on the day of the balance due date.

Deposits made on all bookings are refundable over 60 days and a 50% refund over 30 days. No refund is given within 30 days due to the requirement to purchase non-refundable and non-transferable essentials, including but not limited to; accommodations, reservations etc., on your behalf to secure your spot on the retreat.

However, if we get 30 days or more notice before the retreat start date, the deposit and payment can be transferred to another retreat taking place within one calendar year.

​

If you cancel more than 30 days before the retreat start date, you may request a partial refund (less a cancellation fee equal to the deposit).

​

All Mayfly Maven Retreat payments become non-refundable less than 30 days before the retreat start date due to the committed deposits to the accommodation etc. as stated. 

​

Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason, including acts of God, weather, terrorism, civil unrest, health changes, personal emergencies or otherwise. 

There is no refund or change in cost for arriving late or leaving a trip early.

Your full balance can be rolled over to another date of your same trip within one calendar year. 

If your trip is not offered again, you can switch retreat locations and transfer fees to the new retreat and pay the difference in price.

Reservations can be transferred to another participant, providing they are approved by the Mayfly Mavens in advance of the Retreat. 

30 days minimum is recommended so they receive all the relevant information for the retreat in time to prepare.

In the unlikely event that we are required to cancel a retreat, you can:

• Transfer your deposit to another Mayfly Maven Retreat taking place within two calendar years

• Receive a full refund of all monies paid under the contract as soon as possible

However, we won’t cover incidental expenses or consequential losses that you incur as a result of the booking, such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail, non-refundable car parking or other fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment, etc. so please ensure you have travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances!

Please refer to the specific retreat landing page for everything included, as it changes with each retreat, but as a rule, the following items are covered for all Mayfly retreats.

• Transfers to/from the airport to the accommodation

• Accommodation

• All meals

• All activities

You are responsible for your travel costs and travel documents, including but not limited to –

• Flight to and from the retreat location local airport

• Possession of a valid passport is required for entry, departure and travel to retreat destinations (passport must be valid six months past the return date)

• All visas, permits and certificates, including vaccination certificates (if required)

• Insurance policies are required for the whole of the journey

Sometimes we will alter retreat programs/masterclasses and/or teacher/experts and itineraries due to weather, illness, trip conditions or other circumstances. 

We will rarely if ever change location or accommodation, but it could happen and we will always keep you informed at the earliest possible moment.

However, you will always receive what you paid for!

It will always be like for like, and we will always deliver the core of what was promised. 

We provide coaching advice; coaching is not medical or mental health care. Please use your discretion and seek professional help from a healthcare provider if you feel overwhelmed and need support. 

​

We will do everything we can to match you to providers or people who can provide support. 

​

We can also provide our products for group therapy and mastermind coaching if you need further support and guidance.

The immersive experiences or "journeys" range from 3-day psycho-educational events to 7-14 day nature retreats in Europe, Asia, and North and South America.
